A:We accept returns within 7 days upon arrival. When you receive the product and found a defect, please contact us soonest possible. Please take a picture and provide description of the defect you find. The watch should not have a scratch, no links should be removed, leather band must not be cut and no parts must be replaced.
You may find loose parts which is possible due to shipping. But we are happy to have the watch return back to us and fix. Regardless, you may contact us on first hand fixing which you may be able to do yourself for lesser time consuming.
If you wish to return the watch after 7 days, you will not be refunded at all costs

Q:What is the first thing I need to do upon receiving the watch?

Upon receiving the watch, please wind it. It is likely that the watch would have run out of energy through the shipping process. Wind the watch by turning the crown about 15 – 20 full clockwise rotations. If you know your watch is run by battery, there is no need to wind it. If your watch has a screw-tight crown, release it by turning it anti-clockwise until it is loose. Then wind it 15 – 20 times clockwise as mentioned. Once that is done, you can tighten it by pushing the crown inside and turning the crown clockwise at the same time. By doing a manual winding of the watch, your watch will start to tick.

Q:How do I set time?

To set the time for your automatic watch, you will need to turn button in an anti-clockwise direction if you have a screw-in lock watch. You will then need to softly pull the button out a little bit. The best way to do this is to use your first and second finger and to also use your finger nail as a lever in order to pull the button out with as little force as possible. You will feel a little click when you do this correctly. In some watches with a date function, the first step would be for date adjustment, and the second step would be for the time. Now you can set the time by turning it anti-clockwise. This would turn the minute-hour hands forward until you set the right time. After the correct time is set, push the button back and turn it clockwise for a few rounds to lock it in position.

Q:What is meant by the terms: Automatic, Quartz and a Sweeping Second hand?

Automatic refers to a watch movement that consists of a self-winding mechanism, which allows the watch to run on its own without batteries. The advantage to this is that batteries are not required for the watch to run. The disadvantage to it is that the watch should be serviced every few years to make sure it runs smoothly.
Quartz refers to a watch movement that runs with a battery. The advantage to this is that the watch normally lasts longer than an automatic watch. The disadvantage to it is that the battery has to be changed every so often.
A sweeping second hand refers to a second hand that sweeps smoothly instead of ticking once every second. Basically, its movement consists of a bunch of very tiny, rapid ticks that combine to make it look like the hand is sweeping smoothly. All automatic watches have a sweeping second hand, and all quartz watches have a ticking second hand.

Q:Why does my automatic movement replica lose time and on occasion stops moving?

When you first receive your automatic movement replica, you will need to wind it for 3 minutes straight BEFORE wearing it. Thereafter if you wear it daily, it will continue to wind itself on your wrist when you move around and walk. If you stop wearing it for more than approximately 2 days, the watch will need to be reset, but it will then automatically wind itself once you start wearing it again. Your watch would hence not keep time if it is not worn constantly. However, take heart that you will never ever have to replace the battery as there isn’t one, and most of all, this type of movement is exactly what the originals use!
